Habits is a proudly and fabulously South African fashion brand that started in 1986. 26 years later and the South African market still believe in Jenny’s “classic and classy” designs that are inbetween chain store and couture, So every client feels as special as they do fabulous. With mohair sweaters and 100% leather bags the Habits brand defines sustainable luxury at its South African best. And with her consistently stocked boutique and online store ; that has been running for 10 years. Habits stands on the forefront of easily available and very trendy pieces.
StyleSociety has a preview of her latest collection, her main inspiration drew from the film ‘The Artist’, there is a big 1920′s style with dropped waists and flowing chiffon. But what I’m most excited to see on the runway is Habits version of the trendy matching printed pants suit, in a cheerful haute pink and purple floral print too, I really can’t wait for Spring!

if you give me this opportunity to attend a habits show and a bit of the fashion week in general.
Because of financial difficulties (poor struggling qualified artist :p) I will unfortunately not be able to attend fashion week this year – if I won this competition, as I mentioned before I will FAINT! (Eg: Feel All Into New Trends)

I have never been to fashion week before, this would give me a chance to write about the over all experience on my blog not just about the collections.
I’ve known of Habits store for the last 10 years. I went to school in Claremont and would walk past Jenny’s shop on the way to my mom’s work. I love her collections and style, always consistent and fashion forward but elegant and classic. I’ve watched her collections through the displays at her store over the years. I would love to see her spring/summer collections and it would be my first time experiencing a fashion week show
