My husband treated me to a gorgeous celebratory weekend away with some of our closest friends for my birthday this year. White Sands Beach House is situated right on the beach in a beautiful seaside town called Yzerfontein on the West Coast of South Africa. I usually love going OTT for birthdays, but we decided on a low-key getaway this year. It was just what my soul needed.

As with most holidays or getaways, we never make plans due to hubby’s demanding work schedule, but this worked out perfectly in the end. We were fortunate to have secured a last-minute booking at this luxurious pet-friendly beachfront property, and we managed to coordinate everyone’s schedules for some time away.
There is no better way to celebrate another year than with my furkids and my most special humans. We spent an incredible weekend welcoming in the New Year, soaking up the sun and unwinding with friends.

This gorgeous home is situated right on the beach, so the views are insane. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and early morning walks alongside the ocean, which was so tranquil.

White Sands Beach House
It is the perfect choice if you want to get away with friends. The five bedrooms are situated apart, offering complete privacy. The house is serviced daily and sleeps, ten people. You can also expect all the thoughtful, lovely little touches like beautiful linen, toiletries and towels that make your stay extra special.
We have, on every booking, received exceptional service from both the host, Denisse and the house manager Tanishe. Denisse’s properties are available via Airbnb, and we have booked with her many times. We have stayed at both White Sands and Thyme and Tide.
Her properties are immaculate and well maintained by both Tanishe and Tapiwe, who go over and above to make your stay memorable. If you are ever looking for a pet-friendly (or not) weekend away, I highly recommend this property.
The Villa is serviced daily between 9 am and 11 am. The house sleeps ten people at a high season rate of R12 500.00 a night.
