Jane Sews is a South African based clothing brand started by Amy Venter in 2011. She is a LISOF graduate whose sharp eye for trends continuously brings trendy yet wearable pieces. Her Fall 2012 collection is a moody story filled with soft textures and deep hues.

The feminine folk-like collection has key winter pieces like the fur gilet, the cape and of course my favourite maroon. With the simple colour palette she easily combines varied colours, textures and fabrics in a harmonious way. I am dearly in love with the scalloped laser cut hemlines and the leather sleeved maroon blazer.
