It’s just three weeks since we’ve got back from our gorgeous island holiday in the magnificent Maldives and it’s been manic ever since. It sure feels like we need another quick getaway but somewhere local this time… The Pillars, a Luxury Beach House in Pringle Bay comes to mind.
We’ve spent a weekend there in January, and it was absolutely divine. The beach house is situated high up on the mountain overlooking tranquil Pringle Bay’s sandy white beach, and it has spectacular views.
A Luxury Beach House in Pringle Bay
This luxurious beach house has a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, private deck and entertainment area. It has four luxurious bedrooms, all en-suite with beautiful interiors. We enjoyed the fully equipped modern kitchen and other facilities. It was the perfect place to recharge.
The rates were not too bad, either at R3000 per night. But, I would have liked a lock-up garage or secure parking and electricity included in the price.
We arrived and were told that the house was on prepaid electricity – so we had to top up if we wanted to make use of the sauna and underfloor heating.
The parking was a bit of a shlep as we expected a lock-up garage as was advertised, but it was no longer available. We had to park our brand new ML63 out in the open with baboons roaming the streets. Hub was not too impressed when the baboons got into the back seat of our car via an open window. Fun times!
Except for this unfortunate incident, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pillars in Pringle Bay. For bookings, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
