Your Family Magazine’s featured my mindfulness journey in the latest April issue out today.

‘Mindfulness has given me peace of mind knowing that some things are beyond my control, so there’s no point in ruminating on the past or being preoccupied over “what could happen”.

Here are a few unedited excerpts from my Interview below.

‘I’d always admired inspirational self-help authors like Napoleon Hill, Louise Hay, Dr Wayne W Dyer and personal transformation pioneer, Deepak Chopra – their wisdom helped shape my life and belief systems. Added to that, a rmations and meditations have always been a part of my daily life. Fifteen years ago I was introduced to the idea of “mindfulness” through Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now, which I started practising.”

‘I started my mornings with a short 10-minute guided meditation using binaural beats. I found success in sound wave therapy and it helped settle my restless mind. I also took mindful breaks during the course of the day and spent a lot of time out in nature, especially in my beautiful garden.’

‘I could think more clearly without becoming overwhelmed or distracted by my ever-growing to-do lists. I could also make better decisions; it gave me the clarity and focus.’
